We've updated our Movie Prop Display Services gallery with a unique display for a screen-used Shwarzenegger chestpiece from Terminator 2.  We've also updated our Testimonials page with an extremely kind note from the client on this project, who came to us with a fantastic kernel of idea that was a lot of fun to flesh out into a truly impressive display.
- October 5th, 2009 - Steampunk Sneak Peek!
On our Furniture and Functional Art page, you'll find photos of a new project of ours, the "Pressure-Modulating Transparent Surface Buttress" or put more simply, a wild, steampunk-inspired table by Richard Riley.  This piece will be featured as part of a home theater renovation we're designing.  That project will be completed in early 2010 so look for more sneak peeks in the coming months.

- November 20th, 2009 - Stumped!
We weren't sure whether to categorize this as furniture art or a movie prop display but we've settled on furniture for now!

Initially created as a display pedestal for a private collector of movie props, this style of work could easily translate as a themed side-table or an office or home theater element that sets the scene!

- December 1st, 2009 - As seen on...
We recently created a piece of furniture art for ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."

Artist  Richard Riley fabricated a custom desk made to look like "Ancient Gears", which can now be seen in our Custom Furniture Art gallery.

- December 10th, 2009 - A Devilish Gift!
Our Custom Sculpture, Busts and Statues page has been updated with photos of a new project created for a corporate CEO.  The concept was "himself, in a classical style but with comical, bright red devil horns" and the result would be given as his annual holiday gag-gift.

Sculptor Brian Lewis created the master sculpture and Lonnie Hale handled the molding and casting required to create seventy-five copies of this most unusual gift!

- February 9th, 2010 - Hell-restorer!

Visit our Movie Props Restoration page for a look at a recent project by artists Tom Spina & Mike Thomas.  This oversized movie prop puppet from the film, Hellraiser was brought to us in extremely fragile condition.  We worked to carefully clean, restore and strengthen the foam while maintaining a screen-used feel.  We even recreated an eye from scratch to match the remaining production eye, right down to the aged look of the original!
