Planet of the Apes Lawgiver Replica Bust Display
A custom created display for a replica Planet of the Apes Lawgiver faux stone bust.
Not all of the pieces we display are screen used props. We have had clients come to us with licensed replicas, custom created art pieces, cosplay costumes and other one of kind art pieces that require an equally unique display. One client brought us this Planet of the Apes Lawgiver statue to create a custom faux stone base to help display it proudly alongside the client’s other original Planet of the Apes props and costumes.
We created a hand carved base that displayed the replica bust which was much larger than it looks. We used the rocky desert terrain as inspiration for the sculpture and color of the base. Once sculpted, we coated the base to give it a more rocky realistic look. We finished the base off with several layers of paint to really bring the sculpture to life.
