-June 16th, 2010 - I'm a doctor not a mannequin!
We've added a trio of custom mannequins to our Movie Prop and Wardrobe Displays page. These custom displays were created for wardrobe worn by William Shatner, DeForest Kelley and Leornard Nimoy in the film Star Trek IV, the Voyage Home. Fans of our page on Facebook have already had a sneak peek at these.
-July 1st, 2010 - Make a wish!
It isn't just monsters and horror here at Tom Spina Designs. Today we've updated our Custom Sculpture, Busts and Statues page with photos of Richard Riley's latest foam sculpture. This wishing well was created for outdoor display and has the look of real stone without the weight!
-July 25th, 2010 - finishing touches...
Our Movie Prop and Wardrobe Displays page has been updated with pics of a little finishing touch we made to our Man Cave Theme Room project.
The "Tree of Death" from the film 300 was a late addition to the room. Rich Riley created this themed facade for the base to complete the display!
-August 1st, 2010 - Refreshing Site!
We've given the whole site an update. In addition to the overall design improvements you'll also notice we've streamlined navigation.

-August 10th, 2010 - Return of the Carbonite Desk!
UPDATED 8-18-10 - Our Carbonite Desk was a hit at Star Wars Celebration V, where Star Wars collector (and grammy award winning recording artist) Mark Hall showcased the desk at the Worldvision.org booth. They will be soon be auctioning the ONE OF A KIND Han Solo in Carbonite Desk we created for him (with proceeds going to charity).
-August 19th, 2010 - Celebration V!
Just back in town from the Star Wars Celebration. The Carbonite Desk was a hit and the Movie Props and Wardrobe discussion was great fun! We've added pics from this year's show to our Star Wars Celebrations Gallery and even more photos from the show can be found on our Facebook Gallery!
-August 30th, 2010 - A skull for Six Flags...
We've just finished this fun new foam sculpture for Six Flags Over Georgia. Richard Riley created this booth to be used to hand "Ghoul B Gone" rings to younger patrons who want to keep the creeps at bay at the annual Six Flags Fright Fest. Six Flags supplied the sign and a concept and we did the rest.

-September 14th, 2010 - Spawned!
We've updated our Movie Prop Restorations - Misc. Film and TV gallery with a before and after look at a mask from the film Spawn, which we restored and enhanced for display. The client had the torn foam mask and a production urethane bust. Mike Thomas repaired the mask, sealed the piece and carefully installed custom glass eyes (sculpting the missing eye area as well).

-October 7th, 2010 - Who you gonna call?
Check out our latest project - a very custom display for an original Stay Puft Marshmallow Man head from the movie Ghostbusters. We came up with a creative display solution, making use of our custom sculpture skills and the result is a wonderful display that has both context and originality.
-October 22nd, 2010 - Yummy Mummy...
Richard Riley carved up this incredibly realistic sarcophagus for a client of ours. Made from hardcoated form, it accurately reproduces the look of aged, carved stone without the weight!

-December 12th, 2010 - Certified!
GoDaddy's amazing website security scanner checks the site daily and certifies our site as safe. You'll find their certificate in this page's left column, but rest assured the scanner secures the entire site!
-December 23rd, 2010 - Displaying film history!
Our Movie Prop and Costume Displays page has been updated with a museum-style display for Chaplin's original cane. We used a rare photo of an elderly Chaplin holding this exact cane, enlarged to full scale and fitted with custom acrylic supports to align the cane perfectly with the photo in the client's vintage cabinet.
-January 17th, 2011 - Finding the Land of Lost...

-February 1st, 2011 - ALIEN... 1979
We've added a new page to our Movie Prop and Restoration galleries, based on our work restoring an original chest, arms and hands from the classic film ALIEN. We also created an incredible themed backdrop for the display! We've added another youtube video too!
-February 15th, 2011 - Candyman!
We've added a new item to our Movie Prop Restoration - Various Film and TV gallery - a gentle restoration and themed display for Candyman's iconic hook hand from Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh.
