Appearances at Star Wars Celebration Orlando!

Star Wars Celebration Orlando was a whirlwind of activity for TSD, Tom and our new venture, Regal Robot!

Tom was once again invited as a guest to Star Wars Celebration this year.  The show was a flurry of activity for our crew, as Tom did interviews and hosted panels, we supplied aliens to the live Star Wars Show broadcasts from the convention, and we launched Regal Robot, our latest venture creating officially licensed, Star Wars themed furniture and decor!

This year’s show featured another in-depth, packed house panel about the Star Wars Cantina, presented by Tom, along with old friend Pablo Hidalgo from the Lucasfilm Story Group and Behind the Scenes Stage Host, Amy Ratcliffe. Fans got to see rare and never before seen photos and video, and two lucky attendees got to have previously unnamed characters from the scene named after them!  Tom also took part in the equally standing room only panel, Star Wars Prop and Costume Collecting with Gus Lopez, David Mandel, Stephen Lane, Brandon Alinger, Andy Goulding and moderator, Chris Fawcett. You can see a video of this panel below!

At the Star Wars Show live stage, we provided a number of aliens and costumes, like Snaggletooth, a cantina band member, and Myo the cyclops.  We even made the Lucasfilm team a super cool Star Wars blaster style t-shirt cannon and lightsaber confetti launcher!  Many of the celebs took great joy in launching shirts into the audience of screaming Star Wars fans!  We’ll post more about that soon!

Tom also got to chat with Star Wars Show host Anthony Carboni on the Star Wars Celebration live stream. They’ve posted a video of that interview   (scroll down, we’ve posted that below)!

At the Regal Robot booth, Tom met fans all weekend and we had a steady stream of people taking photos and interviewing us.  Max Scoville of IGN made a great video interview and you’ll find that here.  Geekdad came by and took lots of photos of the Regal Robot booth as well, and you’ll find that story here.

What an exciting, and exhausting show!  For more pics, be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram…. and also check out the Regal Robot Facebook and Regal Robot Instagram accounts as well, for even more about our new venture into official Star Wars furniture and decor!
